GLOBAL RETOOL GROUP extends its product range in the field of laser technology

30.03.2020. As part of its growth strategy, the GLOBAL RETOOL GROUP is further expanding its technology range in the field of laser applications. Previously known as a solution provider for laser welding systems only, the group of companies now complements its product range in two areas.

On the one hand, the GLOBAL RETOOL GROUP with its subsidiary SATEG GmbH has taken over the service business for already installed systems of the former LASERPLUSS AG, Idar-Oberstein. In order to be able to offer the users of all previous LASERPLUSS products the usual service, SATEG has taken charge of this service under the name of LASERplusSERVICE since 01.02.2020. The service employees of LASERPLUSS are now part of the SATEG team, so that the customers will continue to have their familiar contact persons at their disposal.

At the same time, the GLOBAL RETOOL GROUP will offer new laser systems for marking, engraving and cutting of various materials under the name LASERplusSYSTEMS, thus continuing a part of the LASERPLUSS product range. In addition to the manufacture of series products (marker series RayMarker 400 and 700, RayMarker Flex as well as CutMaster for cutting and ablation), the range of services includes the integration of marking stations into production systems as well as the design and construction of special systems. Customers benefit from comprehensive experience in the construction of laser systems for a wide range of industries such as the automotive, tool and jewelry industries. LASERplusSYSTEMS also offers expertise in the areas of handling as well as component recognition and measurement. Own software development enables, among other things, a flexible connection of the systems to ERP systems and databases, a customer-specific mapping of production processes and the development of precisely fitting image processing and measurement routines.

We can thus make our customers an even more attractive offer in two respects. Existing LASERPLUSS customers benefit from the extensive range of services and the large service network of the group. In the future, we will be able to offer customers in the retooling, retrofit and systems business products of the GLOBAL RETOOL GROUP and innovative laser marking technology from a single source as a complement to the existing portfolio.
